It's Christmas Time

It's truly the most wonderful time of the year! I love the holidays. Spending time with family and friends thinking about what life is truly about and what makes it most special! Having a son of my own now makes the enchantment of the season so much more exciting. I am loving taking in Everett's first experiences with Christmas trees, Christmas lights and wrapping paper galore! We have played dress-up a few times for some special photo ops to commemorate the season! Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

The Nordyke Family have been good friends of my familes since before I was born. They are such a sweet, loving family who I always look forwarded to seeing any chance I get. I was delighted to take their photos for their Christmas card this year. I love the way they turned out and I loved the prop they brought!

I was so excited to get to spend some time photographing one of my most favorite families in the world one afternoon last week! I remember when Max and Emmee became apart of the Kimbrough family themselves and cannot believe they are now 11 and 12 years old. These two kids are so kind and respectful and not to mention fun! I was so honored to be the one to capture them during this time of their lives.

One of the greatest things about being able to take photographs is capturing these itty bitty babies while they are still itsy bitsy. This is Norah. She is an extreme colic little baby but that didn't stop her or her Mom and I from making sure we got some good pics of her while she was still only a few months old. The very best way to spend a morning was with this beautiful babe!

After taking off several months to spend time raising Everett I have finally started getting back into photography. As of now I am focusing on portrait photography... family, senior, children, engagement, and bridal sessions. Mostly because these are where my heart really lies right now. My passion has been reignited since Everett was born and my desire to provide families with long lasting images of these moments is stronger than ever.
